For example, you may have two target groups that you want to reach. First target group consists of conservatives. The second target group consists of people interested in food. We shall call them Foodies.
Use Falcon Insight report to see what’s important to each of the two target groups. Based on that you will know what you should highlight in your long term marketing strategy.
The first thing you should do after opening Falcon Insight report is choose target groups you are interested in. You can see this on a screenshot below. We selected Conservatives and Foodies, because we wanted to differentiate between them.
Secondly, we chose period that we wanted to see results for. Usually, this would be a few months to the past.
Thirdly, we selected motivators from “Categories” drop down menu. In a screenshot below, We selected Money, Family, Achievement and Spirituality. Other picture shows the same target groups and date span in relation to “Social” motivator.
Analysis of results
We can see that money, family, achievement and spirituality are more important to Conservatives than to Foodies. Also, we observe that socializing is more important to Foodies than to Conservatives. In conclusion, our long term communication strategy will feature social issues and friendship, when addressing Foodies. On the other hand, if we talk to Conservatives we shall highlight values such as money, family, achievement and spirituality.
In this case Falcon Insight was used to differentiate between target groups of interest. However, Falcon Insight can provide much more.
You will be able to spot unexpected patterns, for example increases or decreases of some motivators during some days of the week, or in other time-spans. Also, you will be able to see differences in target groups with the same interests (keywords they use), but different locations they post from.
These kind of insights will empower you to create complex marketing strategies and instructions for advertising agencies, your marketing department or local campaign teams, across the world.
